Stephanie Mack

Stephanie Mack

Owner / Founder

Stephanie operated a tax and accounting practice for 10 years. However, she began experiencing a variety of perplexing symptoms, including hair loss, cramping and unease in her leg muscles, persistent fatigue despite never feeling fully rested, chronic gut distress, frequent nausea and lack of sleep. These "mysterious" symptoms prompted growing concern as the issues multiplied.

Her alarm intensified with the onset of boils behind her ears, sharp abdominal pain, and complete intolerance to histamine-rich foods. In July 2024, she developed Guttate Psoriasis, which served as the ultimate signal that her autoimmune system was severely compromised. Standard allopathic blood tests, however, indicated she was fine, leaving her at a loss.

Over the past three years, collaborating with a Functional Nutrition doctor, she discovered intolerances to gluten and cane sugar, an overgrowth of harmful microbes, a parasite overgrowth, unexpected menopause, E. coli bacteria in her water, and mold mycotoxins in her blood. Compounding these issues, she suffered extreme pain in her right hip, necessitating a full hip replacement; prolonged use of over-the-counter painkillers had only exacerbated her gut condition. Physically, she was in disarray.

No one should endure such symptoms in isolation, as the path to recovery can feel profoundly lonely. Consequently, she sold her accounting practice to prioritize her health. Through extensive research, she chose to train as a Functional Nutrition Counselor to heal herself and establish a Wellness Center where individuals could address their autoimmune health collectively. All services at Healer center on autoimmune wellness, recognizing that true recovery demands a multifaceted approach.

Stephanie Mack is studying at Functional Nutrition Alliance. The Functional Nutrition Alliance is accredited by the American Association of Wellness Practitioners (AANWP). Upon completing Full Body Systems and passing the certification exam in the spring, she will be eligible to apply for AANWP board certification.
